Dev 401 Certification

1.              Download the force.com fundamentals guide from developer.force.com. You will need a developer org id for this. So I suggest if you don’t have one then create a new dev org for yourself.
   The document can be downloaded from developer.force.com >technical Library>  Documentation > Books > Force.com Fundamentals
   
   
   2.       Go thru the entire document and complete all the hands on exercise given  in the document. This will help you understand the platform. Around 70% of the exam comes from the force.com fundamentals guide only.
   
   
   3.       There are Dev 401 podcasts available. You can go thru them once you have completed the force.com fundamentals guide.

   4.       Once you are done with step 1 to 3, then you can go through the supplementary material. It covers other topics which are important for the exam and are not covered in the force.com fundamentals guide.
